Road trip...

We made it! We left Utah at 5am and we pulled into my mom's house a little before 4pm. We made one stop in Idaho and Ayda did surprisingly well. She didn't claim to be "guck" (stuck) once. She did however enlist my mom as her serving girl, my mom had to scratch her itches and wipe her runny nose and change her DVD player to a movie of her choice. We are now just trying to get settled and Travis is getting ready to start work on Thursday. We are still hoping to sell our house, but until then my mom is gracious enough to let us stay with her, that is Ayda's favorite thing. Here are some pics from our drive.

Glad you made it safely and that Ayda did well on the road. We leave for Cali on Saturday and I'm so nervous to see how Carson's going to do.

It looks like she was having a good time in the car unlike our kids. Are portable DVD players great?

What a funny girl...I am glad your mom was with you to help with Ayda, they seem like they have such a sweet relationship. Hope you get settled soon...moving is always a pain, but exciting at the same time.
