Home Sweet Home

Welcome home! Travis and I drove to Utah on a Monday arrived really early Tuesday morning, packed all day Tuesday (special thanks to Linds for dropping everything to help us!!) Loaded the U-Haul Wednesday, signed closing papers that afternoon and drove the U-Haul back to Oregon. We got into town around 8 on Thursday morning. We unloaded the U-Haul (another special thanks to my mom, sisters, and brothers-in-law for helping). I have almost everything put away, except the garage needs a little work. I don't want to hang pictures downstairs because my first order of business is to paint. As you will see in the pictures we have a very red color throughout the entryway and up the stairs. Then in the living room/dining area is a color that has been described as silly putty, flesh, mauve...whatever you want to call it...it is just plain bad. So, we will be getting some nice neutral colors to put up then I will be able to hang pictures. None of the bedrooms are painted, so I have everything hung upstairs. My favorite part of my room is the closet, notice Travis laying on the floor (that is to show how long it is). We are waiting to get a bed for the guest room, so when people come to visit they don't have to sleep on a couch.

Though I am not excited you LEFT ME for dirty plains, I am very happy you are with your family!! Ok, I'll drop the "dirty" plains thing!! Na... it's too fun calling it that!

How's coffee boy across the street? Maybe he can offer to help get rid of the flesh walls! I do however, don't think the red is that bad. I was expecting something much different. And I love the yard!! It's so cute in front and you have some good space in back too!

We can't wait to see it all in person!

That's so great you got moved into your new home. It looks cute. I like the front yard. I'm having a really hard time picturing you in a hick town like that. Have fun!

What your garage is still a mess, that is unacceptable?! :) It would be fun to be close to family again. Tim and I might be able to come next month, we're working on it...
