a whole new world

Z has discovered life off of the area rug in the living room. He found the Christmas tree, tree skirt, presents among other items in the house. I am sure glad he started crawling in time for Christmas decorations to be out. As I complain about it my mom reminds me to be thankful he hasn't pulled down the tree (I guess I did that as a child...although I don't believe it.)

We've been playing defense on Paisley ever since we put the tree up. Thank goodness there are enough gifts underneath to prevent her from getting the right position to pull it down.

The last picture Z has that "oops, caught" look on his face...precious!

Love it! Next up is running... forget that crawling, walking thing.
He's so yummy, I want to eat those little innocent cheeks! :)

Oh Nika, Z is so stinkin' cute! I LOVE LOVE LOVE his chubby cheeks! I'm impressed you already put presents wrapped under the tree! If I had done that already, they would have all been unwrapped with in the first 5 minutes! I'm just not into rewrapping gifts 5 times before Christmas actually arrives so I've hidden them away in a closet, wrapped, and they won't make their debut till 5 a.m. Christmas morning. I guess I could always put the gifts out under the tree with a child gate protecting the tree and presents, but then again, that looks so tacky! Don't you think? I'm happy to see you're not "one of those" parents who do that and instead you take "risks". I applaud you and Travis! Anyhow, cute cute kid, or kids I should say! Merry Christmas!

Little Z,

you are so cute! Play with that tree all you want, just to drive your mama bonkers! Be sure not to pull the tree on top of yourself. No bleeds for Christmas!

The sad news is the mother of Z pulled the Christmas tree over two times in the same season! Z will have to go a distance to beat that!
