Back to Gaco's house
Ayda was in Gaco withdrawal and it worked out nice that we had a trip planned for baby Maisy's blessing. It was just a quick weekend trip but we still had so much fun and Ayda cried a lot when my mom dropped us at the airport. Enjoy the pictures.

An afternoon with the fish
We went to the aquarium for an afternoon of underwater learning. Ayda was a little leery at first but warmed up to the idea of the swimming creatures, Travis, however, did not (he will always be leery). Here are pictures of Ayda exploring and of some of the fish we saw(some prettier than others).

Peeps!
Easter with Ayda
spring is in the air...
Last week we dusted off the wagon and went for a walk to the park. Ayda loves her wagon and she loves to play at the park. She loves to slide, swing, and play in the dirt(gross I know). You've got to be kidding me...
I have been a little lazy about posting, I went back to work this week (after 6 weeks off) I have been so exhausted (don't worry the doctor told me it is normal) then after about 12 minutes back at work I got a cold, yep same junk everyone else at work has. Excuses over now I will get to my posts...

Watch out for the "yurdles"!
Okay this will be my last post about my trip to Oregon, but I had to do one about when Ayda got hurt, mostly because she is still talking about it. My mom and I went out into her backyard and Ayda followed behind us. She saw some little ceramic animals against a wall and she was pointing to them. My mom went over and picked up the turtle (yurdle) and showed Ayda and said something to her about the turtle (she wasn't chasing her around, she wasn't throwing it at her) well Ayda freaked out and went running(she is such a chicken), she fell on the cobblestone and scratched up both of her legs.
She then told us (several times a day for the rest of our trip) that she went outside and that Gaco hurt her with the "yurdles". (Maybe this is a sign that she is going to be a drama queen...for example my mom would like to point out there was only one turtle, Ayda makes it plural!!)
Ayda rocking out!
One of the first things Ayda wants to do when she gets to my mom's house is play the piano (miano if Ayda is speaking). Here is a short video clip of her rocking out, I think she has some great potential.
I want to go to Gaco's house!
Travis had some work obligations in Oregon and I am still not 100 percent after my surgery so Ayda and I went along. My Mom was a big help with Ayda. It was also nice to have a change of scenery since the last several weeks have been spent on either my bed or the couch. Ayda had a lot of fun (of course) she played and played and played with her cousins. She also played a lot with her Gaco (my mom) if you ask Ayda "whose girl are you?" she answers. "Gaco's girl!" I was sad to leave but we get to go back for baby Maisy's blessing at the end of the month.

I wasn't kidding!
Well, as you can tell by the three posts in one day, I am finally starting to feel a little better after my surgery. The other day I posted some pictures of Ayda, who fell asleep while playing with her fishy puzzle. Today, she got some alphabet magnets for the refrigerator.
(Yes, Chey your dad would think I am so white trash!) The next thing I know she is sound asleep on the kitchen floor. I hope this isn't a sign of how she will be in school, one assignment and she needs a quick nap :)Ayda playing and screaming
I was bored so I made two videos! This started as Ayda and Travis playing hide and seek and just evolved into her running around screaming.

Hard work makes me sleepy!

I realize I post a lot of pictures of Ayda sleeping... trust me it doesn't happen that often. But today she fell asleep in her "toy corner" while doing a puzzle. She pulled up her little pink softie and took her morning nap. No one really knows how hard puzzles are and sometimes a kid just needs a break!
