"Brawberry" Patch

Sorry about the lack of posts lately...we have been so busy. Last week Travis and I had to go to Utah to pack our house because it finally sold...YEAH!! While we were there (which by the way was a total of a day and a half) my sisters took Ayda to a strawberry patch to pick berries. She had a blast, I guess she would jump on the strawberry bush and pick every berry insight....yellow, red, rotten....she isn't picky. Good thing they only charge you for what you take away in a basket...Ayda ate her weight in berries that day. On a separate note, I will post pictures of the new house along with any other information I see fit!!

I love the bubble maker!

I wish I was the one who invented the bubble maker, it is the best!

one more state

My mom had an appointment in Washington so Ayda and I went along for the ride. That way, Ayda was able to mark Washington off her list of states she has visited.

Father's day...late

I never posted anything about Father's Day...I guess it slipped my mind, I am not so good with remembering father's day. I love Travis and Ayda loves her Papa, he is a really good dad and we love him so much!!

hard at work

Ayda loves to color, she rambles off letters and she concentrates really hard. My mom put her on the desk and Ayda went to town.

What is that in the sky?

For those of you not in Oregon let me explain, since we have lived here I think there has been two days of sun (back in May) and the rest of the days...rain. Today, there was sun again. When Ayda woke up from her nap we headed outside to soak in some rays. We blew an entire bottle of bubbles and she ran around the yard as I sprayed her with the hose. She loved it! She also enjoyed running around her Gaco's backyard naked, she took a naked lap or two before calling it a day.

I love the sun!

wild hair

This is what happens when Travis is in charge of bath time...

Portland Rose Festival

On Saturday we headed downtown to see what was left of the Rose Festival, we didn't go to the parade in the morning but they had all the floats on display. Ayda loved the few rides she was able to go on and really loved the fishing game.

I love forts!

Gaco builds them...Ayda pulls them down!

Gum can be dangerous!

Hello. My name is Ayda, and I am a gumaholic.

Ayda is addicted to gum. She loves to chew gum, and when she's not chewing gum, she's wondering how she can get her grubby little paws on a pack of Orbit (her brand). It's safe to say that gum is among the most important aspects of her little life.
So when she got tangled up in her balloon strings this morning and went rolling down her Gaco's entire set of stairs, she wasn't immediately worried about bruises, scratches, or broken bones. She wasn't initially frightened by such a startling experience. She wasn't even concerned for the welfare of her dear balloons.
No sir, this little girl has her priorities firmly set. Her first course of action was to immediately grab the gum that had fallen out of her mouth and place it firmly back between her
gappy little chompers.
