4th of July
Yes, I said I would post these a few posts ago and forgot. We had a nice time at Matt and Keely's. The "big" fireworks display was put on while it was still light outside (the downside of lots of little kids). Ayda loved the fireworks and Zander slept through most of them.

busy busy busy
Today we seemed to be running all over. Ayda went to the dentist for the first time and did an amazing job. The hygienist let Ayda try out all the tools and she helped out during the exam too. She has no cavities and her little teeth are perfect. 
Then a little later Zander had his 2 month check up (a little early he is 7 weeks today). He weighed in at 12 pounds 8 ounces and 24 inches long. Both of which put him in the 90 percentile. The doctor kept referring to Z as a tank. He is smiling a lot and loves all things soft. He spends much of the day rubbing his hands through his hair and he also loves his little blue blanket. He isn't a big fan of the binkie he would rather suck on his fist. 
Ayda is still being the best big sister...she is a good helper and rarely leaves her "Bee Bo"(that nickname comes from The Belly Button Book) alone.
Life is good!

Party at Gaco's!
(sorry for the lack in posts...next post is about the 4th of July) What is better than a sleepover with Gaco? Add two crazy cousins (Beck and Hurley) and it is the best time ever. They decorated cookies, read a lot of books, avoided bedtime and all slept in my mom's bed...where did my mom end up you ask, on the floor!
