teething

All of the carrots have helped Z reach a huge milestone...he cut his first tooth. I felt it yesterday and sure enough there it is a tiny little tooth on his bottom gums. He wore this shirt today to mark the occasion.

Painting Pumpkins

Ayda loves all things art. She loves to color and when I allow the mess she LOVES to paint. So this year I told her she could paint her pumpkins (more fun than watching someone else carve a pumpkin). She painted the three pumpkins and in true Ayda fashion assigned roles to each pumpkin; the biggest was the Papa and Mama pumpkin, the next size down was Ayda and the smallest pumpkin was Z. When she woke up this morning she wanted to repaint her pumpkins.

Z has discovered the Jumperoo and is LOVING it. He jumps and screams like a mad man, I am trying to get video that I can post that will show everyone just how crazy my baby is. Ayda is always able to make Z laugh (generally doing something she has been asked not to do) she is a good big sister. Last night I was on the couch and I saw a spider, I gasped, then realized it was Ayda's spider ring (which by the way she can't wear because it scares her). So in my sick state I placed the spider ring on his face and made Travis take a picture. So enjoy my random pictures! I promise a more meaningful post when I am not sick.

pumpkin goodness

I feel like my life is in re-runs, I posted last October about an identical trip to the pumpkin patch. There are a couple differences this year, Z is here and so is his newest cousin Harris (he was born a couple weeks ago. He and Z are going to be best buds...the pic below is the first of many). The kids always seem to have a good time together. Keely had her camera going and was able to document a moment no one wants to experience...hay in your underwear( it is never a good thing...you will be able to tell by the look on Ayda's face and don't ask I have no idea how it got there!)
