Watch out for the "yurdles"!

Okay this will be my last post about my trip to Oregon, but I had to do one about when Ayda got hurt, mostly because she is still talking about it. My mom and I went out into her backyard and Ayda followed behind us. She saw some little ceramic animals against a wall and she was pointing to them. My mom went over and picked up the turtle (yurdle) and showed Ayda and said something to her about the turtle (she wasn't chasing her around, she wasn't throwing it at her) well Ayda freaked out and went running(she is such a chicken), she fell on the cobblestone and scratched up both of her legs. She then told us (several times a day for the rest of our trip) that she went outside and that Gaco hurt her with the "yurdles". (Maybe this is a sign that she is going to be a drama queen...for example my mom would like to point out there was only one turtle, Ayda makes it plural!!)

What a fun trip! So well deserved, and needed! There's nothing like Gaco to make things better!
I'm not going to lie though, I'm glad you're back!! Even if you're a text away, it's too far!!
Love you, missed you!

I bet your mom loved every minute of chasing Ayda around with those icky "urdles" she is just too funny. What a nice break for all of you...it is always refreshing to visit family. Glad you were able to take it easy.

Oh my goodness!!! I am so glad to hear from you. Your girl is precious and crazy just like you. Man, I remember the good old days in Mira Mesa. I sure don't miss being a missionary there but I miss all the funny and crazy things we did in that apartment. What kind of surgery did you have? I am so glad to be able to be in touch with you now:)

Sometimes we just need to tease our kids just a little. That is funny that she is scared of "urdles." Sounds like you had fun visiting your family!

I can just hear Ayda saying "yurdles". How cute! Oh and by the way, I finally tested out the new camera today so no more getting on my case on what a slacker I am. :)
