road trips and toddlers don't mix...

So, I don't think I would call this one of those road trips you really look forward to... but it is what it is. My mom and I had to go to Utah for a funeral, we drove out went to the funeral and drove back. With Ayda being potty trained it made it a lot harder to just power through. We added a few hours with all the potty stops but we made it. We stayed with Lindsey and Jason in Logan and it was nice to see them and have the girls see each other for a little while. Linds took a couple pics of the girls. We look forward to our next trip to Utah and being able to see everyone.

I remember our first road trip after Thomas was potty-trained. About half-way there he realized that we would stop if he even hinted that he needed to go potty, so guess who was trying to squeeze it out every 5 minutes. Good times :)

Oh man...that doesn't sound fun. At least you got to come to Utah again though. Sorry it wasn't under better circumstances.

I love that we were able to spend the weekend with you! Ayda was so good with Finlee! We already miss you guys a lot. Wish it would have been longer.

I would like to say that the picture of you, Ayda, and your mom is like the cutest picture ever! I think you should have it printed and framed in miss ayda's room!!

Ah! Ayda looks so much older! Still cute, of course, but older!

You were in Utah and you didn't call! JK Who's funeral? That's exciting that Ayda is completely potty trained. I know how you and Denise do road trips so I can see how a toddler having frequent potty stops made it more difficult.

I love the picture of you and Mom and Ayda - I'll take it with me when I ship off on my tour of duty with the pirates.

Ayda is a ham for the camera.

I can't wait to not have to change a bazillion diapers a day...esp. Tavin's man poop. Then again I don't really look forward to the inconvenience of a potty training child...all the unexpected and most inopportune times they choose to have to pee.

Seriously - when are you going to update this thing - I'm getting bored.

Really? Let's get that kid to the pumpkin patch or something so that I can read something new.
