baby's first...

I haven't had a lot of luck finding cute boy clothes. There are so many with ducks and bears and trains and footballs...It just isn't me (so, I guess that means they aren't baby's taste either.) My mom found some really cute clothes for baby, some little pieces for church and a cute little shirt and jeans. We haven't found a name yet (despite all the really good suggestions), so I will continue to refer to him as "baby boy."

Oh my gosh...I have the same problem and am so picky what I will put my child in. No bears or trucks or characters of any kind. I am so mean. Actually the sweater you got him is one of my favorites and he finally fits it now!!! I am so excited that he can wear it. Costco has a REALLY cute sweater set right now. GO FAST. Anyways--boy clothes can be soooo cute, but they are much harder to come by! Good luck!

How about Rodney Michael?

I know what you mean! Girl clothes are much easier then boy clothes. We haven't picked a name for our little guy yet. He will probably be baby boy until the day he is born.

i am the same way. it's sixes, really, boys and girls clothes. depends on your child and the price, right? i do love the children's place and old navy for boys though. good luck with the rest of the wardrobe for your little guy...who will have a name, eventually!

I know what you mean! It's going to be a totally different experience when we have a little girl. Ya have to search high and low to find good stuff for boys and everywhere you turn there are adorable girl clothes. My sister in law works at GAP so we have some goodies from there, and my friend swears by Gymboree but I haven't had much luck there. We usually can find decent things at Old Navy and occasionally Target. Good Luck! If you find a gem let me know :)

I must just be a lazy mom... I slap my boys in whatever is clean :)
Where did your mom get that cute vest and shirt? I must have them!! I'm so excited for baby boy to come, you can just keep calling him that forever if you want!

You are going to have one hip little boy on your hands. :) Very cute choice in clothing. As for boy names, I have had one chosen for years now but have to have a boy, I guess, to be able to use it. :)

I am very excited for my new cousin's arrival - no matter what he's dressed like or what his name is (but "Scott" seems to sound like a cute boy's name).

Congrats on a boy! They are SOOOOOO fun! Those outfits totally look like your kid! I'm not too picky about my boy...slap on a tshirt and some jeans and he's set, but I will say that one of my favorite outfits he has is the button up shirt and jeans you sent him!!!!!!!!!!

So cute! Looks like your Mom found some good stuff. It is frustrating trying to find clothes without the foo foo on it. Don't even get me going on boy shoes. Everywhere you go there's like 2 different kinds of boy shoes. I've just started going to Famous Footwear and getting Carson little Nikes or their Buster Brown shoes, on sale of course.

I hear you about themed baby boy clothes. I definitely think boys are harder to shop for than girls.

Lindsey keeps us updated on you and your cute family. Sounds like you are all doing great!

I always seem to have luck at The Children's Place and Old Navy for boys. It's true, boys are WAY harder to shop for! Good luck with the name

Call him Fifi. Also, by the way, during a RedBull-induced high at work, I announced to my coworkers that horrible nickname. I haven't lived that down since. Stupid...

My friend just named his son Jax--you know, like the mortal combat dude who rips off peoples' arms. Could be good. :) I am glad I'm sticking to dogs for kids, since it is so much easier to name them. You can name a dog anything you want, and it's not a big deal, but kids--dang! There are entire academic journals dedicated to the effects of a name on a kid, from economic success to social acceptance. Geesh.

Congrats.
