spring break: Fort Stevens State Park
The other "fun thing" we did on Ayda's spring break was go to "the beach." I do not consider it the beach when you have to wear multiple coats and winter hats. But Ayda was in heaven. We flew her kite, she played in the sand, chased and was chased by waves. It was perfect until a wave got Zander...he was NOT happy about that. It was a nice chilly day at the beach.

I enjoyed seeing these cute pictures. Kids are growing way to fast. Enjoy every moment time does seem to fly by.
This is so funny that you mention how cold it was at the beach. I grew up on the Oregon coast (and miss it terribly!) and Jeff grew up on the sunny, California coast and we always argue which was/is better! Glad you got to get out and have some fun family time (minus the rogue wave) regardless!
