6 months and growing strong...

Happy 1/2 birthday to Z (a few days late). He went to the doctor this morning and he weighed in at 18 pounds 10 ounces (70th percentile) he is 28 inches tall(95th percentile) and as always his head is holding strong at 98th percentile. He started crawling last week (a few days before his 6 month birthday) His best motivation for crawling is something that he isn't allowed to have, or something Ayda is playing with. He sits up on his own, he has two bottom teeth, he does everything VERY well except sleep. He isn't too interested in that.

yummy solids

Z will be six months old this week and because of his demanding personality I decided to give him some rice cereal. Keep in mind Ayda didn't try solids until she was almost eight months old. But Z has a keen interest in all things food (is that a bad sign) so I thought we would give it a try. Well, he ate it and with each bite he would swallow and make this disgusted face, maybe trying to figure out why he has been trying so hard to sneak bites of food. I will post with his six month stats after his appointment.
(the one smiling picture I think was not because of the food but because his sister was running around crazy.)

Halloween

I am a couple days behind posting but Halloween was a hit. I think this year Ayda was really excited for the trick or treating...that was until she realized how many "scary" things are associated with Halloween. She still came back with more candy than any three year old needs. Z also did a good job, he didn't try and pull off his costume and he might be the cutest froggy I have ever seen. Ayda loves any excuse to be with her cousins, to be at Gaco's house, and to eat cake (it was Hurley's b-day.) My favorite pictures might be of Z and his new cousin Harris, who dressed up as H1N1 (he is one cute flu bug--although he didn't appear to be that happy about his costume.)
