9 months and growing strong

So today is Zander's nine month birthday. He had his doctor's appointment on Monday and he is still growing strong. He weighed 20 pounds 9 ounces (since his six month appointment he has gained just under one pound) that put him in the 50th percentile. He was just under 31 inches tall (He is tall....Ayda was a little more than 31 inches tall at 15 months) that put him in the 98th percentile for height and well his head is ... still hanging strong in the 95th percentile.

Zander is one active little man, he is really wanting to walk (today he took three steps without any help) but otherwise he uses anything that can move to assist his walking (he has even used his cousin Maisy, she is two and weighs just a couple pounds more than Z).

He does have a couple of words, he says Mama (I know all kids do it) but he also says, Ayda. We weren't sure if that is what he was saying but he started saying it more and more when she would come into a room. So, I count that as his first real word.
This picture of him sleeping is a rare thing, he sleeps maybe a couple hours at a time. He would rather nurse than sleep, which means I don't sleep (not mom tells me I never slept so I only have me to blame).

We all love Z so much his laugh is the best. I will post a video of him soon, I just need to get it edited.

I love him. I really really do. He's just so sweet. I can't believe how big he is. He is probably the same size as Rockwell... crazy!
I can't wait to hear more of that sweet laugh.

Please post a video of him saying "Ayda". He sounds like a little bull frog. I love it.

Dear Z,
You are very cute! Now please let your mama sleep. I think she is ready to share a room with her hubby, not you!
