"Piggy"

Ayda begs Travis for piggyback rides. She stands and pulls at him saying "piggy". She loves when he runs around pretending to run into walls and he oinks too. It is pretty cute.

Fun with Friends

Cheyenne came to babysit me because Travis had to leave for a couple hours. Carson came along and he and Ayda had a good time together. They colored, kind of watched a movie, played bubbles and then took a bath together. I think Ayda offended Carson in the bathtub because Ayda is a splasher and Carson seemed a little more reserved. Now all I hear about is "Carkin."

I have been feeling pressure to update my blog! Several people have been pestering me to get new pictures up, never mind that I am trying to recover! So here is the update you've all been waiting for...

One night Travis taught Ayda how to do a somersault, she was doing a really good job (and no I am not just saying that because I am her Mama.)So, the next day I got out the video camera to show off how good she is and all she could come up with were pretty consistently lopsided somersaults...It is still pretty cute to watch!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! Ayda wore her cute new heart dress and got a little Curious George valentine from Travis and I. Her Gaco sent her a gift card and we bought some new summer clothes with that. It was a pretty mellow day.

I feel pretty

There is nothing like a fresh coat of toenail polish to make a girl feel pretty. I painted Ayda's toenails last night, here are a couple pictures of her admiring the nice job I did.

What many people don't know is the harmonica is a lot of work. Ayda is getting it down but she still runs out of breath easily.

Chey came to visit me yesterday and Ayda and Carson had a good time together. We snapped a few shots of them hanging out on her bed. At one point Carson laid down and Ayda patted his back and said, "night night Carsey." It was cute.

Good Friends!

For those of you who don't know, I had surgery on Wednesday night. I got really sick on Monday and thought I was having an ovarian cyst. I felt okay on Tuesday and got sick again Wednesday while I was at work. Thanks to a pushy boss who made Travis take me to the ER, I found out I had an ectopic pregnancy. I had my left fallopian tube removed and am on the mend. I am really sore and am supposed to be taking it easy, which is hard to do with Ayda running wild. But, I am really thankful for all the good friends I have. Thank you so much to everyone for the dinners and the flowers and the calls. Linds came on Friday and took Ayda. The house seems so empty but it is really nice just to be able to sleep. Here are a couple pics of the girls (Ayda and Finlee) before they took off.
